Cyprus Central Hospital, originally founded in 1995 as Famagusta Medical Center, has the distinction of being the first private hospital in Northern Cyprus. Beginning its journey in a modest two-story rented building with only six physicians and one secretary, the hospital has undergone remarkable growth and transformation over the years. In May 2003, the hospital moved to its current premises, continuing to expand its services and technological capabilities.

In 2017, with the opening of an additional 3,000 m² building and a broadened scope of healthcare services — particularly in the field of medical tourism — the hospital was renamed Cyprus Central Hospital (Mağusa Tıp Merkezi Ltd.). Today, it stands as one of the country’s leading healthcare providers, offering a comprehensive range of medical services to both local and international patients.
